Lou, nicknamed "Mr. Excitement" by his friends, because he really knows how to capture an audience with his entertainment skills. He has been involved in music since the age of eight. His parents wanted him to play the accordion. He always wanted to be a drummer, so he joined a drum and bugle corp at the age of sixteen. He bought his first set of drums at that time and practiced very hard and started his first band, "Candy Rain". They played all around in Bridgeport, Connecticut mainly for high school dances, proms and a few weddings. At age 19, he learned the art of professional clowning and magic. The 3rd Degree and played with them for a year and a half playing the hotel circuit in New England. He learned the ropes of the road and started his own band "White Magic", which played the circuit from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Winchester, Virginia. In 1978 Lou moved to Orlando .
